The BAM Board will be conducting its Funding Feasibility study in the Fall of 2008 with Phillips and Associates.

The Market Feasibility was completed by Consult Econ in April 2008.  The results of the study were favorable for the project highlighting the need for an interactive educational facility for Kern County and the strategic location of the CSUB campus.

The BAM Board released its Request for Proposal on Friday, August 23, inviting architectural and construction management firms to provide proposals for this exciting educational project.  For fundraising purposes a multi-phase construction approach will be considered to make fundraising goals within reach of Kern County supporters.  The community leaders that make up the BAM board recognize the importance of choosing individuals who have strong project experience combined with an outstanding ability to leverage local resources and in kind donations to create the most cost effective plan possible. The deadline for the RFP was Friday, September 7th by noon.  
The BAM Building Committee has reviewed all proposals for the architectural and construction management services.  The finalists are the following:
