Bakersfield Adventures for the Mind (BAM) Children's Museum has received conceptual approval from the CSU Board of Trustees in Long Beach for the proposed California State University, Bakersfield location. The proposed site will be facing Camino Media in the soutwest quadrant of the campus. BAM planners will be working closely with CSUB President Dr. Horace Mitchell to incorporate BAM into the CSUB Master Plan during the Planning Phase of the project.

BAM's location on the University campus will be ideal for collaborative educational projects that reflect the variety of academic programs offered at CSUB. During the Planning Phase BAM project planners will be meeting with CSUB professors and students to design interactive programs and exhibits for the museum. Special events will also be hosted at BAM year round always providing new and exciting offerings for our growing community.
